A double-height loft with timber beams and an iron staircase, overlooking the inner courtyard of an old-town building: away from street noise, steps from shops and restaurants.
Almost 140 square metres, fully open-plan, over two levels. There are no dividing walls: the two sleeping areas stay separate because they are on different floors, so the space feels open and private at the same time. White walls, exposed beams, concrete and iron, lots of plants and tall arched windows onto the building's courtyard.

A true second floor, not a mezzanine: the floor-to-floor height is almost 8 metres, so ceilings here are about 4 metres high, under timber beams. A comfortable, gently rising staircase leads to the second double bed, the second bathroom and a view over the whole loft.

Great loft, great location, super clean and well equipped. Central, close to everything, very quiet and above all you can park your car (don't forget to get a ZTL pass on the City of Palermo website!). Valentina's welcome was perfect. I recommend it.

A lovely, stylish place for 3–4 days in Palermo. Right at the end of the main shopping street, but in an inner courtyard, so very quiet and still central. Safe parking in the courtyard. Equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended!

The loft is beautifully furnished and you can see that a lot of effort was put in. The location is very central: just a minute in any direction you can find shops and restaurants. Barbara and Valentina are very kind hosts, always fast to respond and very helpful no matter what you need.

We had a great time at Loft92 and we could not have been happier with our choice. Everything was exactly as advertised. The mosquito nets were an excellent idea to install on the windows.

We loved our stay! The loft is spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, perfectly equipped and ideally located for discovering Palermo: everything is within walking distance. A huge thank you to our host, who was amazing from start to finish: welcoming, always available and truly attentive. Her recommendations led us to so many great places. It's one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in, and if we come back to Palermo we'll book here again. We recommend it without hesitation!

In real life the apartment is even more beautiful than in the listing photos. It's furnished in a really special way and the location is perfect: you can explore everything on foot. It's very clean and communication was flawless. A big plus is the inner courtyard, which makes it very quiet. The courtyard parking is great too.

We had an excellent stay. Ideally located in the heart of Palermo, yet in a quiet spot. No trouble at all parking in the inner courtyard. The loft is very pleasant and very clean. We were warmly welcomed. Highly recommended!

Communication with Valentina was great: very friendly, she checked in during our stay to see if everything was fine and was always easy to reach. She even brought us fresh cookies and some tips for the city! A great location for exploring Palermo. With a rental car you can almost always find a spot in the inner courtyard; just don't be a beginner driver, as the route goes through the busy centre and narrow alleys. Otherwise the place was a 10/10 and I can only recommend it!
Loft92 is on Via Maqueda, one of the two great axes of the old town. At the Quattro Canti it crosses the Cassaro, Palermo's oldest street, and together they divide the historic city into its four quarters. Here the street is pedestrian: step outside and you're already walking among markets, baroque churches and noble palazzi.
You won't need a car: the main sights are all within walking distance.

And when you want the sea
Mondello beach is outside the city, about half an hour from the centre by bus or car. A lovely day trip, with the loft waiting for you in town in the evening.
Our list. The loft has no terrace, but in Palermo you won't miss one: bars and restaurants for an aperitivo or dinner with a view are steps away, and eating out is affordable. Every guest gets our curated list of the best spots.

By car · important
The centre is a ZTL zone
You won't need a car in the centre. If you do arrive by car: Loft92 is inside the old town's ZTL, a limited traffic zone where access and driving are controlled. To arrive by car you need the daily pass, bought on the City of Palermo website. Via Maqueda is one of the two central pedestrian streets, so drive the last stretch very carefully.

If you're coming by car, let us know when you book: we'll send you all the parking details together with directions.
Train and airport

From the airport, take the bus to Stazione Centrale and get off there. Leaving the station, turn left and then immediately right onto Via Maqueda: walk about 400 metres and you're at Loft92.
